Born in Sweden, Bo has spent over 30 years in IT. His career started at a young age where he worked late hours programming Norsk Data and Digital VAX computers at the Uppsala Technical University, the city in which he also studied electronics.
Before moving to Slovakia he spent 15 years mainly in southern Germany where he designed and deployed systems for among others European finance and logistics companies. He has held VP, CTO and CEO hats, also in several startups, since the early 1990's.
He has been involved in the complete development lifecycle of a wide array of projects and solutions, such as embedded systems, (e.g. access control, alarm systems, intelligent vehicles, medical device control, QA measurement devices), business applications (e.g. ERP, CRM, DMS and Business Intelligence), agent-based trading and auction platforms (including Alando, the forerunner that would become ebay Germany) and management systems for distributed WAN cost-analysis at Deutsche Bahn, to name a few.
In his leisure time, Bo loves to run, hike in the mountains, photograph, try out new ideas and communicate on short wave radio.
