enprovia® Mobile enabler framework

Based upon our mobile enabler product, we use this technology framework for our mobile integration projects and solutions. The mobile enabler is also licensed to our enterprise customers.

Using the mobile enabler may drastically shorten the time-to-market for our enterprise customers making parts of processes and workflows available on mobile systems. It further increases the number of mobile devices supported "out of the box" and it reduces the complexity of the rolled-out project.

The Mobile enabler has a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and is built on the standard Java Enterprise Edition. It is a middle tier that extends business applications and services, mobile enabling business processes and products without the need to modify existing systems.

The OSGi plugin architecture makes it easy to extend existing functionality and business logic according to requirements. Connectors for several common backend systems, both ECM/DMS, IT infrastructure systems, ecommerce and social networks are available and more are continuously being developed.
