enprovia® launches mShop mobile applications for ecommerce
26 March 2010
Inspired by merchants' modern-day needs our developers have created “mShop” – an application that allows merchants to accept credit cards and other payments on the go!
Using the “mShop” merchants are able to move an existing online store (catalogues, etc.) to mobile devices and to get listed in the Apple iTunes app store easily.
Our new application allows you to expand your customer base and reach out to new, potential customers with mobile commerce on iPhone®, Blackberry®, Google Android, Windows mobile and other smart phones.
The mShop gateway is built upon our mobile enabler architecture, which runs on UNIX (HP-UX, IBM AIX…), on Linux and MS-Windows servers. It has a small footprint and is easy to install and operate. We also provide it as an ASP solution (“on demand”) for a monthly subscription fee.
This application allows you to connect to the most common ecommerce solutions “out- of-the-box”.

enprovia with new office in Slovakia
December, 2006
We are happy to announce that we have set up our new offfice in Slovakia. In the selection process for our new office, we considered other regions and countries as well, but decided on Slovakia:
Closer to our office in southern Germany compared to many locations in Western Europe, including several cities within Germany. Excellent travel connections, high education, good language skills and minimal cultural differences were other reasons taken into consideration.
Geographical advantage for European customers
We are located in Slovakia, since May 2004 a member of the European Union situated in the heart of Europe. We are on Central European Time (GMT+1) and it is only one hours flight to Stuttgart, two to Basel and to London. This advantegous location makes us a "near shore" outsourcing partner for our European customers.
High level of education and minimal cultural differences
The educational level of IT graduates in Slovakia is high and the country's European culture with shared values and languages simplify communication. |
