enprovia builds NikoScope™

We are building a next generation search portal  for photography and imaging professionals. The portal is built on Java EE technology and is currently running an extensive open public beta test. It is hosted in Germany and the customer will also deploy a mirror server in Asia this year.

We are happy to announce that we have set up our new offfice in Slovakia. In the selection process for our new office, we considered other regions and countries as well, but decided on Slovakia:
Closer to our office in southern Germany compared to many locations in Western Europe, including several cities within Germany. Excellent travel connections, high education, good language skills and minimal cultural differences were other reasons taken into consideration.

Geographical advantage for European customers
We are located in Slovakia, since May 2004 a member of the European Union situated in the heart of Europe. We are on Central European Time (GMT+1) and it is only one hours flight to Stuttgart, two to Basel and to London. This advantegous location makes us a "near shore" outsourcing partner for our European customers.

High level of education and minimal cultural differences
The educational level of IT graduates in Slovakia is high and the country's European culture with shared values and languages simplify communication.
