According to the latest statistics shoppers spent nearly £8bn in December over the internet which is a 16.5% increase over the same period in 2010. Research by Capgemini retail consultancy, a record £68bn was spent online in 2011, which is a 16% increase on the previous year.

Online purchasing has become popular for reasons we are all well aware of and merchants are therefore trying to move closer to customers by mobile commerce, bringing their products into smartphone devices.

enprovia’s eCommerce application mShop expends merchants chances of reaching out to wider customer platform and increase their revenues by going mobile. mShope provides a cheaper and more efficient distribution of products and services for the customers. It also enables merchants to accept payments on the go with mobile commerce on iPhone, RIM Blackberry, Google Android and Windows Phone 7.

mShop synchronizes with your existing system easily. The solution consists of two parts, a simple-to-install component, the so called “gateway” that runs on all common platforms and the mobile application itself. The mShop gateway is built upon our mobile enabler architecture, which runs on UNIX (HP-UX, IBM AIX…), on Linux and MS-Windows servers.

This application allows you to connect to the most common ecommerce solutions “out- of-the-box”.
